G/L Correspondence Analysis

The G/L Correspondence Analysis report shows all entries by a selected G/L account in terms of correspondence accounts. It is also possible to analyze by source type – Bank Account, Vendor, Customer, Fixed Asset.

The report is generated based on G/L Correspondence entries.

To run the report:

  1. Choose the Search icon, enter G/L Corr. Analysis, and then choose the related link.
  2. On the G/L Corr. Analysis page, set the filters to generate and display information:

Period typeSpecifies the period for displaying information (day, week, month, quarter, year, reporting period)
Date Filterspecifies the date or period for displaying information
G/L Account Filterspecifies a G/L account for which the turnover will be generated
G/L Correspondence Account Filterspecifies a G/L correspondence account for which the turnover will be displayed
Source Type filterspecifies by what source type the information will be displayed
Source No. filterspecifies a source number for displaying information
Agreement No. filterspecifies a contract number for displaying information
Closing Entriesspecifies if entries included or excluded from the report will be closed
Global Dimension 1 Codespecifies value of global dimension 1 by which amounts will be displayed
Global Dimension 2 Codespecifies value of global dimension 2 by which amounts will be displayed
Show Periodspecifies if the period will be displayed in lines for each source
Show Agreementsspecifies if the entries will be displayed in the report in terms of agreements. The option is available for customers and vendors only
Show Entrydetermines displaying of amounts in the report in terms of individual entries
Expand Accountdetermines if the Credit and Debit Balance of G/L account will be displayed on the Total tab. The option is available only if the Show Agreements option is enabled
Show Amounts in ACYdetermines if the amounts in additional reporting currency will be displayed
  1. After changing the filter values, click Update Values.

To view detailed information on each generated amount in the report lines, click the value, and the G/L Correspondence Entries window with the set filters will open.

On the Results tab, the total values of the generated report will be displayed. It is also possible to view all correspondence entries by total values in the Net Change Debit, Net Change Credit fields by selecting a related amount.

The Check Turnover by Correspondence field is calculated according to the following formula:

Turnover for the period for G/L Entries + (Turnover Debit Correspondence Entries -Turnover Credit Correspondence Entries)
