Fixed Asset Card

Card of a fixed asset contains basic information about it. To learn more about the standard functionality of fixed assets, see Managing Fixed Assets.

This article describes the fields related to the localization functionality:

Custom Category CodeIn this field, the fixed asset is assigned a code according to the Ukrainian classification of goods for foreign economic activity.
Inventory NumberThis field contains the inventory number of the fixed asset. The field will be filled in automatically if an inventory number series is configured for the selected FA subclass on the Depreciation Templates page.
Serial No.This field indicates the serial number of the fixed asset. The field is informational and is used only in some printed forms.
Passport No.This field contains the fixed asset’s passport number. The field is informational and is used only in some printed forms.
ManufacturerThis field indicates the manufacturer of the fixed asset. The field is informational and is used only in some printed forms.
Manufacturing YearThis field indicates the year the asset was manufactured. The field is informational and is used only in some printed forms.
FA TypeThis field indicates the fixed asset type. Possible options: Fixed Assets, Intangible Asset, Future Expense, Not Valuable FA.
StatusThis field displays the status of the fixed asset. Empty – the fixed asset card has been created, but it is not available; Inventory – the fixed asset has been purchased, but not put into operation; Operation – the fixed asset has been put into operation; Modernization – the fixed asset is under modernization; For Sale – the fixed asset has been decommissioned for the purpose of sale; Disposed – the fixed asset has been sold; WrittenOff – the asset has been written off. The field is filled in automatically depending on the transaction with the fixed asset.
Status Document No.This field displays the number of the document that is the source of the fixed asset status.
Initial Release DateThis field displays the date the fixed asset was first put into operation.
Depr. Costs AccountThis field indicates the type of FA depreciation costs. Depending on the selected type, when calculating depreciation, a G/L account is determined, which will reflect the depreciation costs of the fixed asset. If Depr. Costs Account is specified in the FA Locations table (the value is not empty), then Depr.Cost Account field on FA card will automatically update when FA Location changes.
FA LocationThis field specifies the FA location code according to the FA location table. This field is not editable and is recorded on posting documents related to fixed asset movement transactions, such as purchase (posted purchase invoice), acquisition or modernization (act), movement (act).
Property Right DocumentThis field indicates the type and number of the document, according to which the right of ownership to the intangible asset was acquired. The field is informational and is used only in some printed forms.

Extended DescriptionThis field defines the extended fixed description, allowing users to specify a detailed name for a fixed asset with a large number of symbols that don't fit in the "Description" or "Description 2" fields. Printed document forms use the value from the "Extended Description" field when it contains data; otherwise, they generate the description based on the "Description" field.
Vehicle TypeThis field indicates the type of vehicle if the fixed asset is one.
Vehicle ModelThis field indicates the make of the vehicle.
Vehicle Reg. No.This field indicates the registration number of the vehicle.
Is VehicleThis field indicates whether the fixed asset is a vehicle.
FuelThis field indicates the product used as fuel for the vehicle.
Fuel TypeThis field indicates the type of fuel used for the vehicle.
Fuel Unit of MeasureThis field indicates the unit of measurement for the fuel used for the vehicle.
Odometer InitialThis field contains the odometer’s indicator of the vehicle as of the date the fixed asset was put into operation.
Fuel InitialThis field indicates the level of fuel in the vehicle as of the date the fixed asset was put into operation.
