Responsibility Centers

Setup

The Responsibility Center directory is used to manage different legal entities within one company and displays basic general information about the Responsibility Center, such as registration and contact details, responsible persons, default bank account number, etc.

This page has fields that are related to the localization functionality.

On the General tab, the following fields need to be filled in:

FieldDescription
CodeSpecifies the responsibility center code.
NameSpecifies the name of the responsibility center. The field is required.
Full NameSpecifies the full name of the responsibility center.
Full Name (English)Specifies the name of this responsibility center in English.
AddressSpecifies the address associated with the responsibility center.
Address 2Specifies additional address information.
Address (English)Specifies the address of this responsibility center in English.
Post CodeSpecifies the postal code.
CitySpecifies the city where the responsibility center is located.
Country/Region CodeSpecifies the country/region of the address.
ContactSpecifies the name of the person you regularly contact.
Global Dimension 1Specifies the code for the global dimension that is linked to the record or entry for analysis purposes. Two global dimensions, typically for the company's most important activities, are available on all cards, documents, reports, and lists.
Global Dimension 2Specifies the code for the global dimension that is linked to the record or entry for analysis purposes. Two global dimensions, typically for the company's most important activities, are available on all cards, documents, reports, and lists.
Location CodeSpecifies the location of the responsibility center.
Override Data in Company InfoSpecifies how the data in the responsibility center card should override the data in the company information in print forms or business logic.
The following options are available for this field:
1. Standard (address only) Only the address of the RC is filled in, all other details are populated from the Company Information card.
2. No data Information is populated from the Сompany Information card. If the company information is not filled in, the corresponding fields in printed forms also remain empty.
3. Non-empty fields They are filled in with information from the RC card, while blank fields are supplemented with details from the Company Information card.
4. All data Information from the RC is displayed in full.
Director No.Specifies the value of the Director No. field.
Director NameSpecifies the name of the director of this responsibility center.
Director Job TitleSpecifies the job title of the director of this responsibility center.
Accountant No.Specifies the value of the Accountant No. field.
Accountant NameSpecifies the name of the accountant of this responsibility center.
Accountant Job TitleSpecifies the job title of the accountant of this responsibility center.
PictureSpecifies the picture that has been set up for the responsibility center, such as a company logo.
Branch NumberSpecifies the number of the branch of the Responsibility Center.
Branch NameSpecifies the name of the branch of the Responsibility Center.

On the Communication tab, the following fields need to be filled in:

Phone No.Specifies the phone number of the responsibility center.
Fax No.Specifies the fax number of the responsibility center.
EmailSpecifies the email address of the responsibility center.
Home PageSpecifies the website of the responsibility center.

On the Localization tab, the following fields need to be filled in:

Registration No.Specifies the Registration No. for the current Responsibility Center, which is displayed on printed forms instead of the organization's Registration No.
VAT Registration No.Specifies the VAT Registration code for the current Responsibility Center, which is displayed on printed forms instead of the organization's VAT Registration code.

On the Default Bank Account tab, it is necessary to add the default bank account.

Filling in the RC in documents

  1. Create a purchase or sale document.
  2. Fill in the document header and select the Responsibility Center.
  3. Fill in the document lines.
  4. Print the document.

Note RC is used in Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, Advance Reports, Purchase Credit Memos, Purchase Returns, Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, Sales Credit Memos, and Sales Returns.

Note When generating printed forms from sales documents with a completed responsibility center, in such printed forms as Invoice, Shipment, Act of Completed Work, Change Price Docs., Return Shipment, Account Confirmation, TTN, CMR, the registration information and image (logo) of the organization will be filled in based on the selected RC depending on the value of the field Override Data in Company Info.

Formation of payment files with details RC

If the Responsibility Center is selected in the bank account card, then the information from this RC will be used when generating the payment export file. At the same time, the data that will be transferred to the file is determined by the settings of the Override Data in CompInfo. Depending on its value, either the standard company details from the Organization Information card or the details specified for the selected RC can be transferred to the file.
