Creating a Destination Company
Select the search icon 
in the top right corner, which will open the Search function. Enter MDM Destination Companies in the search field and follow the corresponding link. The MDM Destination Companies page will display a list of available destination companies.
To create a new destination company, click the New button 
. A new MDM Destination Company page for creating a destination company card will open. Fill in the appropriate fields:
At the top of the page, you will see a Connection Setup section with a brief guide. For the full step-by-step guide, search for MDM Sender Setup in Tell Me, or see MDM Sender Setup Guide.
a. Connection section:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | Enter a unique code for the destination company. |
| Description | Enter a description of the destination company. |
| Replication Enabled | Activate the checkbox [x] to enable data replication to this company. |
| In Current Database | Activate the checkbox [x] if the destination company is in the same environment. When enabled, the Web Service URL is filled automatically. |
| MDM Web Service Url | The OData URL of the destination environment's MDM receiving API. For cross-environment setups, open MDM Receiver Setup in the destination company to find this value (see Setting up the receiver environment). For same-environment setups, this is filled automatically. |
| Company Name | The exact internal company name in the destination environment. This is the Name field on the Companies page, not the Display Name. These may differ if the company was renamed. The value must match exactly, including spaces and casing. |
b. Authentication section:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Sender Credential | Select the credential used to authenticate with this destination. For OAuth, ensure the same Client ID is registered in Entra Applications in the destination company with the SMART MDM Full permission set. See Creating a credential. |
| Receiver app version | Displays the application version of the receiver. Populated after a successful connection check. |
Notes:
When the In Current Database checkbox is enabled, the MDM Web Service Url field is automatically filled in.
To verify the correctness of the entered data, click the Check Connection button on the toolbar. For this to work, the receiver environment must be configured — see Setting up the receiver environment.
