Work Interface

To optimize working with numerous identical Low-Value FAs, the system supports two types of fixed assets.

  • Low value FA (parent) — a card with the necessary FA data that is common to the current purchase batch of Low-Value FAs. The card serves as a grouping element for all FA cards that will be created based on it;
  • Low-value FA (child) — a card that corresponds to a specific unit of Low-Value FA. It displays data that is common to the current purchase batch of Low-Value FAs as well as data unique to this specific unit (location, responsible employee, inventory number, etc.).

For convenient work with these cards, a separate page Low-value FA (multiquantity) has been created. It has a tree-like structure where all Low-value FA (child) cards are grouped under the Low value FA (parent) card from which they were created. This page displays the following information:

  • No. and Description — for cards with the Low-value FA (child) type, they are created by adding a sequential number to the corresponding field values of the Low value FA (parent);
  • FA Class Code and FA Subclass Code — values common to the current purchase batch of Low-Value FAs and duplicated in the Low-value FA (child) cards from the Low value FA (parent) card;
  • FA Location Code and Responsible Employee — information is displayed for each Low-value FA (child), while the value on the Low value FA (parent) card remains informational only and displays data that was specified on the purchase document;
  • Inventory Number, Status — information for each Low-value FA (child), while the Low value FA (parent) card will always have the Inventory status.

The page also contains columns with quantity and value breakdowns by cards:

  • Quantity available (Low-value FA) — the quantity on the Low value FA (parent) card that is available for distribution to Low-value FA (child) cards;
  • Book Value available (Low-value FA) — indicates the book value of available Low-Value FAs;
  • Quantity in inventory (Low-value FA) — the number of components filtered by the "Inventory" status and the total quantity of Low-Value FAs;
  • Book Value in inventory (Low-value FA) — determines the book value of Low-Value FAs in inventory;
  • Quantity in operation (Low-value FA) — the number of Low-value FA (child) cards with "Operation" status that were created from this Low value FA (parent) card;
  • Book Value in operation (Low-value FA) — determines the book value of Low-Value FAs in operation.
