Item Transfer

To transfer items between locations, the Transfer Order document or Item Reclassification Journal can be used. This is standard Business Central functionality, see Transfer Inventory Between Locations to learn more.

Before creating a transfer order, make sure that the number series for Transfer Orders and Posted Transfer Receipts and Posted Transfer Shipments are set up on the Inventory Setup page.

Printed forms of corresponding documents are also available and can be printed out by clicking Print on the Transfer Order, Posted Transfer Shipment or Posted Transfer Receipt documents.
