Absence Planning scenario

In the current version of the system, the functionality of various types of requets is not mandatory for use. Each company can independently decide on their use.

This functionality is useful when integrating the system with SharePoint Portal. Each employee may be given the opportunity to submit an absence request for approval.

Step 1. Sick Leave request

Path: Sick Leave request

The request fields are filled in as follows:

Sick Leave request page, General

FieldDescription
No.Request number. Is determined automatically according to the set number series 'Vacation Request Nos.' in the Human Resources Setup (General Module Setup scenario).
Employee NoThis field contains the code of the employee submitting the sick leave request.
Employee NameThe name of the employee is automatically filled in after filling in the Employee No field.
Time activity codeTime activity code that determines the type of sick leave.
Time activity groupTime activity group determines what kind of order to create.
DescriptionDescription of sick leave request. The field is automatically filled with the name of the time activity code and can be changed manually.
Request DateDate of submitting the sick leave request.
Start DateSick leave start date.
End DateSick leave end date.
Calendar DaysNumber of sick leave days. The field is filled in automatically when filling in the End date field.
Sick Certificate SeriesA series of sick leave from the sick certificate.
Sick Certificate Case No.The number of the case of disability from the sick certificate.
Sick Certificate No.Sick certificate number from the sick certificate.
StatusSick leave request status. The field is filled in automatically when you start the document administration functions.
Responsibility CenterDisplays the responsibility center.
General Order No.Is filled in automatically.

To use the sick leave request as the basis for generating a sick leave order, the request must be approved.

From Sick Leave request, you can create a Sick Leave order.

To do it, fill in the Sick Leave request field and click Actions - Functions - Approve. Then select Process - Create order:

  • you will automatically navigate to Sick Leave order with all fields filled in. If everything looks correct, post it.

ButtonDescription
ApproveChanges the sick leave request status to Approved and makes it non-editable.
CloseChanges the sick leave request status to Closed and makes it non-editable. It is impossible to open a closed request. The Closed status is convenient for marking accrued and paid sick leaves.
OpenChanges the sick leave request status to Open and makes it editable.
Mark as UsedNot used for a sick leave request.
Mark as UnusedNot used for a sick leave request.

Step 2. Business trip request

Path: Business trip request

The fields of the request are filled in as follows:

Busiess trip request page, General

FieldDescription
NoRequet number. Is determined automatically according to the set number series 'Vacation Request Nos.' in Human Resources Setup (General Module Setup scenario).
Employee NoThis field contains the number of the employee who is submitting the business trip request.
Employee nameThe name of the employee is filled in automatically after filling in the Employee No field.
Time activity codeCode of the time activity determining the type of the business trip.
Time activity groupGroup of the time activity determining the type of the business trip.
DescriptionBusiness trip request description. The field is filled in automatically with the name of the time activity code and can be changed manually.
Request dateDate of submitting the business trip request.
Start DateStart date of the business trip.
End DateEnd date of the business trip.
Calendar daysQuantity of business trip days. The field is filled in automatically when filling in the End Date field.
Travel DestinationName of the locality, address.
Travel PurposeDescription of the purpose of the business trip.
Travel Reason DocumentReason document of the businness trip.
StatusStatus of the business trip request. The field is filled in automatically when running the document administration functions.
Responsibility CenterDisplays the responsibility center.
General Order No.Is filled in automatically.

To be able to use the business trip request as the basis for generating a business trip order, the request must be approved.

From Business Trip request, Business Trip order can be created.

To do it, fill in the Business Trip requests field and click Actions - Functions - Approve and select Process - Create Order:

  • you will automatically navigate to Business Trip order with all fields filled in. If everything looks correct, post it.

ButtonDescription
ApproveChanges the business trip request status to Approved and makes it non-editable.
CloseChanges the business trip request status to Closed and makes it non-editable. It is impossible to open a closed request. The Closed status is convenient for marking worked and paid (or cancelled) busiess trips.
OpenChanges the business trip request status to Open and makes it editable.
Mark as UsedNot used for a business trip request.
Mark as UnusedNot used for a business trip request.

Step 3. Request for other absence

Path: Request for other absence

The request fields are filled in as follows:

Request for other absence page, General

FieldDescription
No.Request number. Is determined automatically in line with the set number series 'Vacation Request Nos.' in Human Resources Setup (General Module Setup scenario).
Employee NoThis field contains the number of the employee who is submitting the request for other absence.
Employee nameThe name of the employee is filled in automatically after filling in the Employee No field.
Time activity codeCode of the time activity determining the type of other absence.
Time activity groupGroup of the time activity determining the type of other absence.
DescriptionOther absence request description. The field is filled in automatically with the name of the time activity code and can be changed manually.
Request dateDate of submitting the other absence request.
Start DateStart date of the other absence.
End DateEnd date of the other absence.
Calendar daysQuantity of other absence days. The field is filled in automatically when filling in the End Date field.
StatusStatus of the other absence request. The field is filled in automatically when running the document administration functions.
