“Sick Leave Calculation Rules Setup" scenario
Path: Administration / Sick Leave Setup
Due to the legislative requirements, in Microsoft Dynamics, it is possible to configure the rules and restrictions used when calculating sick leave. The rules and restrictions for calculating sick leave are divided into four groups:
• Payment percentage – determines the percentage of sick leave payment for different types of sick leave.
• Salary limits – determines the minimum and maximum limits for paying sick leave of different types.
• Sick leave for care – determines the maximum possible number of days and the percentage of payment for sick leave for caring for a family member of all ages.
• Payment source – determines the number of days paid for by the employer for different types of sick leave.
When using the rules, the Sick leave type specified in the order is taken into account. If there is no setting for the sick leave type specified in the order, the setting in which Sick leave type has the All value is used.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Type | Rule/restriction type for sick leave payment. Payment percentage. Salary limits. Sick leave for care. Payment source. |
Start date | The date from which the rule comes into effect. |
Sick leave type | The type of sick leave to which the rule applies. The All type is used to generalize cases. |
Insurance record (years) | Insurance experience (in years). Determining the minimum value of the insurance record to which this rule applies. Read more about calculating the insurance record in the Insurance record scenario. |
Payment percentage | The amount of temporary disability benefit as a % of average earnings. |
Payment benefit | Preferential category for sick leave payment. The option takes into account the value of the Benefit field for sick leave payment in the person’s card. |
Max. accrual amount | The maximum accrual amount for the purpose of calculating sick leave benefit. The field is filled in for rules of the Salary Limit type. If the shift is changed, a new setting with a new limit value must be created. |
Max. Average Earnings | The maximum average earnings for calculating sick leave benefit. The field is filled in for rules of the Salary Limit type. If the shift is changed, a new setting with a new limit value must be created. For the maximum average size: this is the size of the previous month (the last month of the AE), so the setting for the month the sick leave starts must have a value for the previous month. |
Age | The field is filled in for rules of the Sick Leave for Care type and defines the minimum age of the relative who receives care determined by this calculation rule. |
Treatment Type | Treatment Type: Outpatient. Hospitalization. |
Max. Days per Year | The maximum number of days per year paid for from all cases of care described by this rule. |
Max. Days per Document | The maximum number of days per document paid for from all cases of care described by this rule. |
Payment of First Days | The number of first days of financing paid by the enterprise. The field is filled in for rules of the Source of Payment type. |
Days after dismissal | Number of days after dismissal during which the sick list is paid. This field is filled in for rules of the Source of Payment type. |
Dismissed | If the setting is set to "Yes", this means that the rule applies to dismissed employees. |
Person with a disability | If the setting is set to "Yes", this means that the rule applies to employees or their relatives with a disability. |
Element code | Sick leave calculation element code. If an element code is defined in the sick leave rule setting, the payroll element code specified in the sick leave order line is taken into account when selecting rules. |
Pay day reduction group code | Specify the settings for calculating sick leave days that will not be paid for reasons stipulated by law. If the employee's timesheet contains a time activity code according to the setting, then when adding an order for sick leave, the day will not be included in the payment. |
Average monthly number of calendar days | The value is 30.44. It is used when calculating the average salary. |
Reason for Disability | This setting only works with the "Payment Percentage" type, which is selected in the "Type" column. If necessary, you can set the payment percentage for a specific reason for disability, for example, for COVID-19. |
