"Salary Indexation" scenario

Path: Payroll Elements

In the configured database, payroll elements 1900 and 1901 are created as an example for salary indexation calculation.

The main element 1900 performs the calculation of base indexation according to the index from the Indexes for Indexation Processing setting, using the indexation threshold from the Salary Limits setting. The calculation of the base month is carried out based on the employee's hiring and transfer data in the labor contract. The fixed indexation element (1901) performs the calculation of fixed indexation, which may occur if the salary increase during the period is less than the amount of base indexation.

Features of adding to the payroll document and calculation: In the calculation type, indexation elements are included in the type used for the calculation If Exists.

To ensure the elements are added to the payroll document, they must be present in the conditions of the labor contract during hiring or transfer, with a quantity of 1. To calculate the main element, the Indexes for Indexation Processing settings must be completed before the monthly calculation.

Note: Please note that in the current version of the program, when transferring an employee to another position, the amount of fixed indexation remains regardless of the salary for the new position. If necessary, the fixed indexation line can be deleted.

Note: Please note that the calculation algorithms for the element, selection of the base, detailing of the base, and other parameters are determined by the calculation settings of the element and can be changed in accordance with legal or user requirements.

Note: If multiple final payroll documents are created for an employee within a period (with the "Create Salary Status Details" checkbox enabled on the HR and Payroll Setup page), for correct indexation calculation, payroll elements must be created automatically by the system without further recalculations by the user.
